Michelle Hatfield

LMFT, ICGC-II, IGDC

Michelle Hatfield is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with multi-state licensure across California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, and Washington, and is also a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario, Canada. She is an International Certified Gambling Counselor-II (ICGC-II) and holds the International Gaming Disorder Certificate (IGDC), with specialized training in sex addiction recovery therapy.

 

Michelle is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in cyberpsychology, with research focused on internet-based process addictions such as gambling, video gaming, and pornography. Her clinical expertise bridges the gap between technology and therapy, ensuring interventions remain relevant in today’s digital world.

 

Alongside her clinical work, Michelle has extensive executive leadership experience, previously serving as Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Stars Behavioral Health Group in California. In this role, she guided organizational growth, advanced company culture, and expanded behavioral health services across the state.

 

At Kindbridge, Michelle combines clinical expertise with strategic leadership to expand access to high-quality, specialized care. She is dedicated to innovation, lifelong learning, and advancing treatment for gambling and gaming disorders, process addictions, and mental health challenges.
